This week’s favourite photo features His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Margaret Brooke and the stunning Miami skyline.
Snapped while HMCS Margaret Brooke was berthed alongside the Port of Miami on January 28, 2024, the image captures Miami at night.
The ship and crew are currently deployed on Operation CARIBBE, Canada’s contribution to U.S.-led enhanced counter-narcotics operations in the Caribbean Sea and the eastern Pacific Ocean.
Under the operation, Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) ships and aircraft deploy to the region on a rotational basis to support the U.S. mission to suppress drug trafficking in international waters.
