Cowabunga! A search and rescue technician jumps into the serene skies over the picturesque Key West waters in our favourite photo of the week.
The springboard for this jump is a 435 Transport and Rescue Squadron CC-130H Hercules. The free-fall practice jump took place during Key West SAREX 2025 on March 10, 2025, in Key West, Florida.
Key West SAREX 2025 is a joint training exercise involving forces from the United States Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, and other local emergency services, alongside some participation from Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members. The exercise enhances coordination and effectiveness between agencies in search and rescue operations.
