Comfort Casseroles-Beef and Rice Casserole

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground beef

2 cup cooked rice
1/2 cup green pepper

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 celery, thinly sliced

1 cup mushrooms

1/2 cup red pepper

1 cup chow mein noodles

1 medium onion, chopped

1/2 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons butter

Directions

1. Cook rice as per directions

2. Cook beef, celery, and onions. 

3. Stir in remaining ingredients and transfer to a casserole dish. 

4. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 mins. 

5. Sprinkle noodles on top. 

6. Bake uncovered for 5-10mins and serve.

Serves 4-6
