You’re in luck if you are a military community member currently on the job hunt. Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is offering a workshop this week with tips and tricks on how to land your next job.

Entitled “Opportunities, Where?” This English information session is designed for those who are job seeking, are employees, entrepreneurs, or students.

“Join us as we explore the power of networking for grants, funding, hidden jobs, and more. Why you may want to embrace virtual coffee chats,” states the website’s information page.

The session will also delve into the usefulness of LinkedIn and how to make your profile glow. The session might also include a few guest speakers to enhance the tips and resources available to attendees.

The workshop will take place on Oct. 5, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. EDT. The deadline for registration was Sept. 26, 2022. However, late registrations may still be accepted. Contact the organizer here.
