Fab Family Sandwich

This sandwich is a family favourite. We make and pack it up in a cooler when heading out for a day at an amusement park, a day at the beach, or a picnic. Sometimes I make it when we have a large group over for lunch. It’s easy, quick, and delicious!

Ingredients

Scale

125g cream cheese

23 tablespoons of mayonnaise

½ cup of grated cheddar cheese

2 sliced green onions

1 lb pound of ham sliced

1 lb pound roast beef sliced

8 dill pickles

1 loaf of French bread

Instructions

  1. Hollow out French bread loaf.
  2. Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, and cheddar cheese using a mixer or wooden spoon/spatula.
  3. Add green onions to the cheese mixture so the onions are evenly distributed throughout.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture on both sides of the hollowed-out loaf of bread.
  5. Layer sliced roast beef evenly on the bottom side of the bread. On the top side, layer the sliced ham.
  6. On the loaf’s bottom side, add the sliced dill pickles over the roast beef.
  7. Close the sandwich by adding the top side of the loaf (ham side) on top of the pickles.
  8. Wrap the sandwich up tightly in saran wrap—place in the fridge or cooler.
  9. When serving the sandwich, unwrap and slice it into portion-size servings.
  10. Enjoy.
