All Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members are being called upon to take up the mantle as ambassadors and assist in recruiting efforts.

In a new message to the CAF, the Canadian Forces Recruiting Group is calling upon CAF members to step into the role of ambassador through Operation UNIFIED RECRUITER.

“OP UNIFIED RECRUITER is a CFRG initiative to educate and refresh CAF members on the recruiting process and where they can direct interested members of the Canadian public who demonstrate an interest in joining the CAF,” read CANFORGEN 172/22.

“Extend its Reach”

The 680-member CFRG wants to “extend its reach” in the face of falling recruitments and a downsized military.

The new CANFORGEN reminded CAF members where to access key messages and information on the recruiting process. The Aide Memoire can be found on the CAF app for military members to access.

Canadian military members are requested to access the Aide Memoire to determine how they can aide the CAF in recruiting efforts.
