Team Canada brings home 6 medals from the 2018 Invictus Games

The Invictus Games come to a close today in Sydney Australia. Team Canada will be bringing home 6 medals, 2 silver and 4 bronze.

Bombardier (ret’d) Naomi Fong was awarded two bronze medals for cycling.
Gunner (ret’d) Dave Innes won silver in men’s indoor rowing.
Lieutenant (Navy) Nicole Murillo and Captain (ret’d) Cavelle Simmonds both won silver in women’s archery.
Master Corporal (ret’d) Derek Anderson, Corporal (ret’d) Mathew Belear, and Sergeant Francois Gauvin won bronze in men’s team archery.

As a recent graduate from the St. Thomas University Journalism program, Paige has a passion for storytelling and investigative journalism. In 2016, she, along with her journalism team were awarded first place at the Emerge Media Awards in the multimedia category.
