Blue Line’s 2023 Annual Best Dressed Police Vehicle Awards were announced on November 4, 2022. Its winners and the Canadian Armed Forces Military Police new vehicle design proudly won second place. With submissions from coast to coast to coast, this award is the only program of its kind in Canada.

A New Look for Canada’s MP!

The new patrol vehicle decal aims at better identifying Canada’s Military Police to the defence community and the public by being bilingual and readily identifiable as a police service. In addition, the 3M reflective accents in the vehicle’s vinyl wrap enhance the word ‘police’ and single number ‘911’ for emergency services, visible day or night.

The modernization of the design moves away from using a military crest as the only identifier on patrol vehicles. However, keeping with Military Police traditions, the new look maintains the colour red with black and white tones. The MP New Look is a result of an extensive consultation process involving input from patrol members at the tactical level from guardhouses in various regions right across Canada. The outcome brings MP vehicles in line with other law enforcement and first responder partners with a common look and feel.

Congratulations to Service de police de la Ville de Lévis for first place and to all other police partner participants for their great look!
