CFOne Card Reaches 100,000 Milestone

Over the past year members of the Canadian Armed Forces community have been applying for the popular CFOne card. “We are pleased to announce we have now reached the milestone of 100,000 CFOne cards issued. Reaching this goal has been a collaborative effort towards the ultimate goal of reaching one card for each person of our One Community, One Million Strong,” said Rachel Duchesneau, National Membership Marketing Manager, Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services. To mark this significant milestone, the recipient of the hundred-thousandth CFOne card, Stéphane Bourbonnais and his wife joined a celebration hosted by Commodore Mark Watson, Director General Morale and Welfare Services. “Mr. Bourdonnais, a former member currently based in Ottawa, received a special gift package that included a $100 gift card redeemable at any CANEX store in Canada.”

The CFOne card is the one card required to access programs and services delivered by Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services. “The CFOne card consolidates the functions of several cards into a single card. It provides you with access to the CANEX Rewards Program as well as the CF Appreciation Program.
In the future, it will be the one card to support membership to PSP sports, fitness and recreation programs and services at Bases and Wings across the country,” said Duchesneau. In addition, the CFOne card will provide membership and confirm access to messes and specialty interest activities, such as golf, curling and sailing clubs.

The CF Appreciation Program grows daily and includes thousands of industry partners at local, national, and international locations. “If you’re planning a vacation, shopping for a new car, or just looking for an evening out CF Appreciation offers will help you save money. On the website you can click on the discounts option and choose categories of interest to you and your family. You can search locally or even nationally for goods or service providers of your choice, then take advantage of the discounts they offer CF members,” said Duchesneau.

As part of the CFOne program CANEX Rewards has been enhanced. “You’ll see revised point accrual and redemption levels, in-store point redemption, point balance printed on receipts, online access to your account information and much more. PSP departments on Bases ans Wings offers innovative programming and access to state of the art facilities. The CFOne card will soon be your family’s key to health, wellness and leisure activities. Really, it’s the only card you’ll need to access programs and services delivered by Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services.”
