Casting for the Canadian show, ‘Stats of Life’

The Stats of Life explores households across the country to see how each one compares to the other. The show provides the viewer with statistics while hearing the stories of different families in each episode. Every episode focuses on an important aspect of our lives, revealing how we’re alike and how we’re not. While begging the question, “is there still such a thing as average?”

The show started in November 2017 with four episodes focusing on dating, money, home and food. They are currently casting for season two and looking for people and families with a wide variety of stories.

“Everything from entrepreneurship, to different styles of parenting/raising kids, stories of families getting a puppy this summer, selling their home (in a fast or slow market), buying a cottage, retiring and even stories of people who have been married for 20+ years,” said the show’s casting director.

Including the lives of military families. The casting director said through the journey of the first season, they discovered there are some great stories found within military families that go along with some of the show’s themes.

“We aren’t specifically looking for people in the military, so much as families and couples – regardless of their job title- with unique stories to tell,” she said.

If you, or someone you know, might be interested in applying for the show and telling your story, the application can be found here.
