Broadway Across Canada offers discounts to military personnel, veterans and their families with CFOne Card

Get whisked away into the dark world of the Phantom of the Opera or be inspired by the uplifting story of Kinky Boots at a city near you.

For the next few months, Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members and their families, with a valid CFOne Card, can enjoy tickets to these shows, and many more, at a discounted rate.

Those military members that have a valid CFOne Card can login into the CF Appreciation portal to browse through a variety of theatre performances currently being offered at a discounted price by Broadway Across Canada.

“We want to make our shows as accessible and affordable as possible. We have, often, really wonderful content for families and we want to make sure we show our appreciation to these particular family members by offering them the best available seats to our production by offering advance sales at the best possible prices,” said Michael Albert, Assistant Manager Group Sales, Group Sales Department for Broadway Across Canada.

Some of the shows military families can enjoy include Kinky Boots, available in Calgary and Edmonton. Kinky Boots is a winner of six Tony Awards and follows the true story of a struggling show factory owner.

Audiences can also enjoy a rendition of the quintessential play: The Phantom of The Opera, in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.

Additionally, in these cities, families can also enjoy a telling of the classic fairytale, Cinderella.

In Ottawa, families are privy to discounted shows of The Book of Mormon and Motown, a narrative that pieces together the story behind some of the greatest hits of Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder and the Jackson 5.

  1. So much for my excitement when I saw this article. It’s a shame that the city that offers the most broadway shows in Canada (at probably the most expensive prices) – Toronto – isn’t included in this discount.
