Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2  cup butter, softened

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 ½ cups whole wheat flour

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp sea salt

1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine butter, honey, and maple syrup.  Whisk or blend with a hand mixer.  Add egg and vanilla.  Blend.  Add flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips.  Mix well and drop onto a greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 – 15 minutes.

Makes about two dozen cookies.
