Chris Hadfield shares self-isolation strategies

Former astronaut and Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) pilot Chris Hadfield is no stranger to self-isolation.

As the first Canadian to walk in space and a former commander of the International Space Station, Hadfield knows all to well the challenges that come with being self-isolated in a dangerous environment, and he took to his YouTube channel this past weekend to share some tips.

In his video, Hadfield outlines four ways to “find a way to thrive and be productive far from our normal lives.”

These four key points are knowing the risk, choosing goals, knowing constraints, and taking action.

More than anything, Hadfield encourages others to take the opportunity of this time at home.

“It’s a chance to do something different. Something you’ve never done before,” said Hadfield.
