Shot on May 2, 2021, Naval Tactical Operations Group members aboard HMCS Calgary prepare to board a dhow in the Arabian Sea.

Dhow is a generic name for many traditional sailing vessels with one or more masts with a settee or sometimes lateen sails. Dhows are used in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean region.

The HMCS Calgary is currently deployed on Operation ARTEMIS, where they are participating in counter-smuggling operations. The ship and crew are also part of Combined Task Force 150.
