Best Bread Maker Cinnamon Buns

This recipe is so simple! It makes the bestest, fullest, fluffiest cinnamon buns ever! Just add the ingredients to the bread maker pan, hit the “dough” button, and wait. Once the dough is done, roll out the dough, butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, roll, rise, bake, and frost with Cream Cheese Frosting!

Ingredients

Dough Recipe

1 1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup butter

1/3 cup white sugar

1 egg beaten

1 teaspoon salt

3 ½ cups white flour

3 teaspoons yeast

Filling

1/4 cup softened butter

2/3 cups Brown sugar (or as much as you want)

2 tablespoons cinnamon (or as much as you want)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to the bread-maker pan.
  2. Set on dough setting – this timing can range from one hour and thirty minutes to two hours.
  3. Butter an 8×10 pan and a 9×9 pan.
  4. When the dough is ready, roll into a rectangle.
  5. Butter the dough.
  6. Spread/sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the buttered dough.
  7. Using the longest side of the rectangle, roll the dough up tightly.
  8. Cut the dough into 1-inch pieces.
  9. Place the pieces into the buttered baking dishes and cover with a clean wet cloth.
  10. Let rise for an hour. You can use this time to make the Cream Cheese Frosting. See recipe here.
  11. With 10 minutes left to rise, turn on the oven to 350 F.
  12. Bake for 20 minutes or until the cinnamon buns are a light brown on the top.
  13. Remove from oven and cool. You could frost individual when warm.
  14. Once cooled, frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
