Get your tickets! Laura Earl to perform fundraiser for Military Wives Choir June 22nd at the Petawawa Legion

Renowned comedian and military spouse Laura Earl will be putting on a special performance of her hit comedies on June 22 to support the Canadian Military Wives Choir Petawawa’s mission to attend the 2017 Invictus Games this fall.

Earl will be performing her signature shows: “I’m an Army Wife…Now What?” and “Revenge of the Bride.”

“What better way for us to fund raise than to provide an opportunity for the Military Community to come together and be entertained by the very talented Laura Earl and her hilarious one-woman comedy show. Written and produced by Laura, everyone in the military community, family, and friends will be able to relate to the humor,” said Henrietta Biddiscombe, President, Canadian Military Wives Choir Petawawa.

The Canadian Military Wives Choir has been invited to sing at the Opening Ceremony of the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto this September. This will be the first time choir members from across the country will unite to sing.

To make this a reality, however, it is the responsibility of each branch to raise funds to send their members.

“Our Choir feels very lucky to have such a strong and proud tight-knit military community here in Petawawa, That continues to be very supportive of our community involvement and fundraising events.

“We are also beyond excited and extremely fortunate to have the sponsorship and support of Laura Earl and MyFm as they help us make this event a success,” added Biddiscombe.

Those who wish to attend are advised to purchase tickets right away.

“It’s going to be a very entertaining evening and we fully expect to sell out so please get your tickets now so you won’t be disappointed,” said Biddiscombe.

The Canadian Military Wives Choir Petawawa Comedy Night will be held Thursday, June 22 at the Petawawa Legion. Doors open at 6:45 and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by emailing [email protected].
