Unit Chief Positions and VCDS staff group appointments announced

Recently two CANFORGENS were released regarding appointments for Unit Chief Positions and VCDS staff group for the 2022 active posting season.

“MGen. A.R. Jayne congratulates you,” stated the CANFORGEN.

Unit Chief Positions

CANFORGEN 065/22 on behalf of MGen. A.R. Jayne announced several key Unit Chief Positions.

The most recent positions announced include:

• At Canadian Forces Station Leitrim the CWO position will be filled by CWO J.R.R.M Lanctot.
• At 76 Communication Regiment, the Regimental Sergeant Major position will be filled by CWO Y. Rochette.
• At Canadian Forces Network Operations Centre, the CWO position will be filled by MWO G.C.D. Phinney.

VCDS staff group for the 2022 Posting Season

In CANFORGEN 052/22 Vice Chief of the Defence Staff (VCDS), LGen. Allen announced appointments to the VCDS staff group for the 2022 posting season.

“I am pleased to announce the following unit command appointments for VCDS GP,” stated Allen in an announcement to the CAF.

“Congratulations to all of you,” continued Allen.

The appointments are as follows:

LCol. C. Gaudreau has been appointed commanding officer of the VCDS GP HQ.
LCol. F.J.A. Lauzier has been appointed commanding officer of OUTCAN Coord Row.
LCol. A.V. Pleasance has been appointed commanding officer of CFSU (E).
Maj. M.H. Tremblay has been appointed commanding officer CFSU (CS).
LCol. J.R.P. Guidoin has been appointed commanding officer RCSU (E).
LCdr. (P) P.L. Michale has been appointed commanding officer RCSPU (P).
