MCpl Nicolas Alonso shot this week’s Favourite Photo featuring
members of the Lord Strathcona Horse (Royal Canadian) Regiment deployed on Operation Lentus 21-06.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, the Lord Strathcona Horse (Royal Canadian) Regiment personnel were in British Columbia filling sandbags, helping the local community against the floods in Chawathil First Nation Community, British Columbia.

Chawathil First Nation Community is located between Agazzi, B.C., and Hope, B.C., on Highway 7.

In November, several weather systems contributed to record rainfall in British Columbia, causing severe flooding and damage to the area.
